Arrestees under 18 no longer will go to adult jail

Police will stop taking juveniles arrested in Marion County to jail under a policy change taking effect today.

   

All arrestees younger than 18 instead will go to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center, according to an order issued Friday by Marion Superior Court after talks with the Sheriff's Department.
